ASB SmartStart - Primary Enterprise Education

ASB SmartStart is a suite of innovative and integrated primary enterprise education programmes, resources, and competitions for students from Years 1-8. The ASB SmartStart principal partner is ASB Bank.

The Primary Enterprise Programme (PrEP), Technology Enterprise Learning Link (TELL), Business for Kids (BfK) and ASB Community Enterprise programmes provide authentic contexts for students to practise and enrich their enterprise and financial literacy skills. The Trust’s primary enterprise programmes provide flexible options for schools that allow for both short-term (one- four week) programmes, as well as programmes of a longer duration.

Teachers are supported in implementing the ASB SmartStart enterprise education programmes via professional development workshops held throughout the year, in the main centres. Descriptions of workshops and registration forms can be found on each of the ASB SmartStart programme web pages.  Programmes are supported by Teachers’ Manuals and resource DVD’s.
